In general as a care worker with a qualification and certain skills you would be expected to perform tasks to a standard expected of a reasonably competent person with the same level of training and experience.It is also your responsibility to be aware of and follow your organisation’s policies and procedures in relation to performing CPR when providing care or services.Competent adults have the right to refuse any treatment even if it is life sustaining or if refusal will not be of benefit for the person.
