This module is about ideas and information that relate to the Community Care Common Standards. How do you know that your client is getting the best care for his particular situation? How does your coordinator, managers and the service provider know if the organisation is delivering quality care and services? What about staff satisfaction and performance? And what information does the government need to check that community services are giving quality of service delivery? One way is to follow a cycle of checking and changing. This is what we mean by continuous quality improvement. Continuous quality improvement is not something that only the coordinators and bosses are responsible for. CQI should not be something that just gets done at certain times or when government checks are due.
