This module is about ideas and information that relate to the Community Care Common Standards. Standard 3: Service User Rights and Responsibilities: Expected Outcome 3.5: Independence. This module will focus on what it means to give care and services that support, promote and foster your client’s right to independence. Quality community care service delivery is also based on respecting your client’s customs, beliefs, culture and ethnicity. The community standards have been made to protect the rights of older people who receive community aged care services.
